Mission: • Affirmation supports LGBTQ/SSA Mormons and their families, friends and Church leaders in seeking to live productive lives consistent with their faith or heritage. • We provide a loving, inclusive community for all LGBTQ/SSA people, regardless of how they identify in their sexual orientation, gender identity, or faith. • We encourage spirituality and empower LGBTQ/SSA Mormons to make valuable contributions within and outside of the Church. • We organize local gatherings and international conferences, provide informational resources, and work for dialogue within the Church. Results: • Developed materials that allies can use to work w/ local level leaders and to train other allies • Engaged LGBT Mormons interested in attending church and provide support •Developed allies network and partner on activities (socials, service activities, Pride marches, etc.) and include families/youth • Developed and shard best practices across groups/chapters (e.g. FHE, potlucks, story-sharing, sports, competitions, service, etc.) • Streamlined, standardized, and improved outreach and membership processes • Helped coordinate Pride marches, visibility at Pride festivals and related communications • Created “Faces of Affirmation” that models happy gay Mormons and families living full lives and serves as mentor network • Partnered w/ other orgs. or media to improve visibility in LDS & LGBT communities Target demographics: support LGBT Mormons, their families, and allies by encouraging spirituality, providing information resources, and working for inclusiveness and equality. Mission: To educate and provide resources on gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (queer) issues in the Humboldt County community. Results: We've raised over $50,000 to date for local charities through our community fundraising events. Target demographics: Humboldt County, California residents and visitors. Mission: The Arlington Gay and Lesbian Alliance (AGLA) is a grassroots membership organization that strives to improve the quality of life and meet the needs of the Arlington gay and lesbian community through education and leadership. We are committed to creating an organization that reflects the diversity of Arlington and building relationships with business and civic groups and community leaders. Through vigorous nonpartisan political activities, AGLA earns the respect of community leaders and ensures that the gay and lesbian voices remain an integral part of the local government decision-making process. Through community service projects, we reflect our commitment to improving the quality of life for all Arlingtonians and demonstrate the value of gay and lesbian people to the community. Through our varied social activities, we provide a safe and comfortable community for gays and lesbians. Our visibility, our commitment to effective positive change and our internal unity combine to create a dynamic environment in which personal involvement translates into community progress toward equality for all gays and lesbians who live and work in Arlington County.

Mission: The mission of off our backs is to provide news and information about women's lives and feminist activism; to educate the public about the status of women around the world; to serve as a forum for feminist ideas and theory; and to seek social justice and equality for women. We make special efforts to reach women who are not normally privy to feminist media such as rural women, third world women, women in prison, lesbians, women of color and poor women. Programs: Publication: the primary purpose to educate the public, both nationally and internationally, about women's struggle for equality all over the world. Internship Program: to encourage and promote women students successfully entering into careers of journalism and publishing and promote the equal representation of women journalists and writers in the media. International Outreach and Linkage: to investigate to stories and information about women's struggles the world over and make that information accessible to women in the U.S. and elsewhere. Also, provide free copies of publication to women's centers and lesbian organizations throughout the developing world. Create action alerts on crisis situations for emergency support. Prison Outreach Program: Free subscriptions to any prisoner in any country. Community Education Program: educate the public about the condition of women and movements for equality for women both in this country and around the world. Also host national and local listservs for community activists.

Mission: Project right side was established to educate the general public and policymakers about issues related to equal rights and equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals. Mission: Based in the south, the campaign for southern equality (cse) is a national effort to assert Programs: Lgbtq rights toolkit: through our lgbtq rights toolkit, we support lgbtq southerners in accessing direct services and resources to address immediate legal and health needs. During 2017, cse completed 26 free direct service clinics across the south, serving a total of 486 people; we significantly exceeded our 2017 goal in order to respond to the demand for these services. Clinics focused on topics including name changes, the intersection of immigration and lgbtq law, and self-defense for transgender individuals. Cse provided support to 62 individuals/families in crisis or with immediate legal needs. Cse's digital resource center was visited by a total of 4,990 unique visitors in 2017 and 2,700 people viewed our 2017 trans in the south resource guide. southern equality fund: through the southern equality fund, we provide funding and training to southern lgbtq folks doing heroic organizing in their hometowns. During 2017, cse awarded 95 grants totaling $53,322 across 12 southern states to support lgbtq grassroots organizing across the south and to support innovations in lgbtq-friendly direct service models. Cse also offered a series of free webinar trainings on grassroots leadership issues and launched the trans leadership initiative. legal equality project: through our legal equality project, the campaign for southern equality works across the south to strike down anti-lgbtq laws and to promote pro-lgbtq policies. During 2017, cse organized and supported rapid response organizing to oppose laws like north carolina's hb2 and hb142, to support health care access for all, and to support immigration rights.
