Mission: To help mothers worldwide to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information and education, and to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and the mother.Statistics LLLI provides over $33 million per year of in-kind services. LLLI reaches well over 300,000 people in 63 countries every month. Approximately 39,000 Leaders have been accredited in the past 44 years. Each LLL Group is attended by an average of 10 women per month, with many Groups attracting 20-30 mothers. LLLIs Center for Breastfeeding Information (CBI) contains more than 17,000 full-length research studies with more than 300 categories of breastfeeding data and adds over 125 new studies a month. The LLLI Board of Directors includes members from six countries.7 LLLI maintains consultative status with the United Nations Childrens Fund (UNICEF), official working relations with the World Health Organization (WHO), acts as a registered Private Voluntary Organization (PVO) for the Agency of International Development (USAID), is an accredited member of the US Healthy Mothers/Healthy Babies Coalition, and is a founding member of the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA) LLLI is a member of the Child Survival Collaborations and Resources Group (CORE).

Mission: Provided physical therapy through Programs: Provide physical therapy through theraputic riding to over 140 diabled and disadvantaged children to improve flexibility, tone and esteem.

Mission: Educating native american youth and their primary guardian to establish a lifestyle that will allow him/her to take control of their diabetes. This will be accomplished by conducting work-shops, training sessions, summer camps, and other such means that may be effective. Programs: Surviving diabetes for native americans, inc. Mission: To assist foreign war veterans Programs: The veterans of foreign wars post administers social welfare and community service programs from revenues generated by dues, donations and fund raising activities.

Mission: We will bring together parents, youth and other individuals and groups who are concerned about children, to identify needs, share ideas and resources, and plan to meet the needs of children and families in our communities. We will be active advocates for children. we will promote, implement and support activities to meet the identified needs and will evaluate outcomes.

Mission: The foundation was established to assist medically fragile children. The mission is to assist children who do not have the financial capacity with their basic medical needs. The foundation plan's to have as many as three fundraisers a year to provide funds to support the mission. Target demographics: special needs children and adults Direct beneficiaries per year: many families and their children, local school districts, and other non-profit organizations. Geographic areas served: in Abilene, Texas out of our main office, however our Grant Program covers 101 Texas counties and our Closet Program is world wide Programs: by offering two program, the Grant Program which provides financial assistance related to medical need and our Closet Program which provides gently used medical equipment for special needs children and adults.
