Mission: Provide an introduction to general aviation and aviation careers to local area youth who may not otherwise have the opportunity and to provide a support network for individuals who are interested in learning about experimental aircraft construction techniques.
Mission: Science, math, and art education Programs: Abq fractal challenge: k-12 students from the albuquerque area create and submit fractal images. Winners are chosen based on aesthetic beauty, complexity and color scheme, and displayed around albuquerque as public works of art. fractal planetarium shows: each month, the fractal foundation offers four fractal shows to the public. First friday fractals and fractals rock, which almost always sell out. In 2014 approximately 1800 children and 5400 adults benefitted from these shows. student outreach and teacher workshops: fractal presentations are available to schools, teachers and other organizations. Additionally, fractal institutes are offered to educators to teach fractal content and pedagogy
Mission: To foster socio-economic development in ibero-america through technology transfer. Programs: Research and development: faciliate cooperation among member universities & industry, encourage interaction, work to obtain master academic licenses for hardware to allow member universities the opportunity to obtain research equipment. lib links: facilitate inter advanced continuing education: adaptation design & enhancement of curricula, professional development, accreditation, on-site training, web-based distance learning, and double-degree programs. library linkage: digital library workshops providing electronic documents to researchers utilizing member university staff and libraries.
Mission: We provide a professional development, networking, and mentoring resource for women and girls in New Mexico who are working or interested in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) and allied professions, including the biological, behavioral, medical, and social sciences.
